Branding and Website for Contemporary Dance
As part of the agency KOCMOC brand, I led a comprehensive rebranding for Sebastian Weber Dance Company. The company wanted to have a new image and break out of the category tap dancing into the panorama of contemporary dancing. We redefined its visual identity to reflect its dynamic spirit and forward motion.
The Logo
The new logo centers on an arrow, which symbolizes impulse, direction and energy. The font BC Falster Grotesk by Briefcase Type Foundry also evokes the movement of performers dancing.
The branding system is supported by angular and dynamic shapes, and a vibrant colour palette.
We gave the company a set of visual assets and guidelines for them to independently produce posters and social media content, ensuring visual consistency across all platforms.
Website
Alongside the visual identity, we designed and developed a new, modern website for the dance company. It includes a calendar for perfomances and workshops and a presentation of the company and its repertoire.
